Hello, friends! I hope you are having a lovely week.

mcmurder is going to be a community for one to two week long "mini" murder games. This is to encourage high pain, high intensity, low commitment murderings.

There's been a lot of good interest since the Yuggoth TDMurder and since I've been musing around with the idea of trying smaller formats out for Murder Games, this is the first one. Things are tentative as heck, so pardon the dust! My hope is to create small quick games that won't rely too heavily on lore unless the players choose for it — once the murder is complete, characters will receive a hard ending based on their actions. There will likely be no carry over unless specifically stated in the scenario.

So this first theme will be... Wonderland.


OOC INFORMATION
+ McMurder: Wonderland will run sometime in early October.
+ Since this is an interest post, there will be more details released with the setting on the day the first mingle log goes up. I will outline a few things below in IC Information.
+ The setting will be inspired by lore from Alice in Wonderland, though.
+ The game will last for a week — provided with a mingle log, small events throughout the week, investigation on Friday, Trial on Saturday, and Execution / Final Departure on Sunday.
+ Characters will be nerfed and come without any items.
+ Age cap is 16.
+ Franchise cap is 3.
+ Estimating around 25 slots for Wonderland. * Definitely subject to change.
+ Reserves will be open to people on cirilla's plurk only for the first day. If reserves aren't filled by the second day, friend of friends will be allowed.
+ This will be more mafia based and while there is an investigative factor, the week given to players before the investigation will allow for alliances to be made.
+ Characters will have an opt in for a killer or victim role. There may also be one third party role, but still not 100%
+ If this setting is well-received, it will be able to have a sequel in the future!


IC INFORMATION
+ Characters awaken in a clearing from a wooded area. While it's definitely a real forest, there are hedge-like mazes preventing the characters from leaving.
+ Characters awaken with a animal mask of the player's choosing upon sign up. They can not be removed.
+ The NPC of Wonderland is not revealed, but they will allow conversations to learn more about the lore around the game's setting.
+ But, since this is McMurder... characters will find their short time in this setting encouraging alignment and alliances with your "kin" (masks), it is up to players to take that advice to heart.
